Have you ever found yourself staring out of a window lost in thought, wondering what the rest of the world was like? Have you even woken up one morning to get ready for your boring and mundane job and stopped to ask yourself "what am I doing here?" I have.
The thoughts would originally come only once in a while, but they started progressing until I knew I had to do something.
I kept wondering how I could see more of the world and get out of a job that I hated. The answer to that turned out to be simple. I was going to start looking for jobs abroad. Since I wanted to go somewhere tropical, I was going to look specifically for jobs in the Caribbean.
I started to do some research on the web, it quickly became apparent that I would have to teach myself a great deal so that I could find the right job on the right Caribbean island. There were far more questions than answers, such as which island I want to live on? What are the Visa requirements? What is the standard of living like? What suitable vacancies were available on that island?
After a while, I started to realize that I wasn't making the progress that I had hoped for. I must have gone to a million web sites trying to find out all of the information I was looking for. At any given time, I would have a handful of sites pulled up on my computer, trying to go back and forth and write everything down
I would start off on the jobsite looking at overseas vacancies and jobs in the Caribbean, and then I would go to another website in order to find out the visa requirements are that particular island and then I would go to another website, which would give me information about life in general on that particular island.
It really was very difficult. I spent more time, jumping between websites about overseas jobs in the Caribbean than I did actually learning anything useful. That would help me to fulfil my dreams. Just when I thought things couldn't get any more difficult. I found a site that I needed. Jobinthesun.com this site have everything! It has thousands of job vacancies in the Caribbean and other overseas jobs in other locations in every industry that you could possibly think of hotels, medical, construction, computers...
