How To Find A Home Based Business Opportunity

There are millions of people looking for a home based business every day, the question is where do they start? There are thousands of business programs easily found just by typing in a few keywords to your favorite search engine. But which do you choose.

For some it will be a Multilevel marketing business because there is little to no investment. Yes people can make a lot of money in this type of business but usually the people who make the money are those individuals who have a following from previous MLM business they built through the years.

The person who has no sales or marketing experience have very little chance of making any real money. What usually happens is that they end up just buying products to meet monthly quotas. So although there was no initial investment up front, the company gets it in small increments. MLM companys will make it seem so simple to build an organization of 1000's. Not quite the truth.

People new to MLM are trained to chase around their family and friends, and do whatever they can to sign them up first. I think this is taught because the higher ups know these are the only people the newbies have a shot with. They run through their family and friends and then get fustrated when most say no, and then give up. They figure if Uncle Bob and Aunt Betty won't buy in what are my chances?

Don't worry MLM is not the only game in town. Direct sales is the opportunity you need to take a close look at if you are serious about making real money from home. It takes a long time and a lot of sign ups to even make a little money in MLM, while you can be in profit mode in direct sales with just 1 or 2 sales.

With direct sales you are making 100's and 1000's from your very first sale. Does it cost a lot more to get into direct sales than MLM. Yes it does, normally anywhere from $500 to $3500 on average. but you normally are in profit mode after just one or two sales.

If you are serious about a business you should expect there to be a cost. With direct sales you get a six figure income potential with a fraction of the investment a typical business. What if you wanted to open up a deli or tanning salon or whatever, it costs big money with a 80% failure rate for small business.

The question is why invest maybe your life savings to open a business that has a tremendous down side and a failure rate above 70%. The risk to reward doesn't ad up, thats why direct sales is taking off in a big way. And anyone can do this if they just take the time to learn how to market the internet, which costs nothing but time.

What you want to look for is a program that has a training system included in the program. This is vital because most likely you do not have experience in internet marketing. Look to get a lot in return for your investment in the form of training materials. For instance ebooks, seminars , video tutorials and so on. If you get all things that is worth you investment alone.

Now what you need to do is search out your right fit, and also look at the person who is looking to sponsor you. Make sure you feel comfortable with them and have confidence they will be there for you when you need them. If you have any questions I am always avaiable.
