Seattle Apartments - A Few Research Tips

By Jeff Torgenrood

Seattle is a great place to live and renting Seattle apartments is a wise move for you and your colleagues. Seattle is the highest populated city in Washington, and is a coastal city on the Pacific Northwest. It is a seaport and a good choice for any family to live.

Do some research before you come here, like I did. I typed in Seattle apartments in the search engine and found people who took the time to rate the properties where they had lived.

On apartmentratings.com there are a lot of people giving their honest take on their experience at any one of Seattle's apartments. I had to bear in mind that everyone has a different standard of living, but it was good and real information.

I visitied seattlerentals.com where there were a ton of listings for Seattle apartments. I started with the prices and there is usually a good picture showing the building.

They also list what amenities are available, like if there are laundry facilities on site, if you are on a bus line, if you are close to shops, what kind of flooring, if there is a yard or balcony. Since Starbucks is a major amenity in Seattle, they also list whether you are near one!

Seattle has so many historical sites and there is so much to do there it is overwhelming. In order to narrow down the possibilities, go to "visitseattle.org".

This site lists what neighborhood you'll be in, type of unit, how much you need for a damage deposit, square footage, what utilities are available, parking, what floor it is on, whether your pet is allowed, etc.

Here, you can obtain information on the different neighborhoods. There is an alphabetical listing which gives a good description of each area. Do your research, and rest assured you will love residing in one of Seattle's apartments. - 2364
