And there's no question that all the different establishments held together by experts will continue on for some time yet. It simply means that if one person can do something, another can too. You don't have to be an expert. NLP modeling can expedite that process but someone way back in the day had to figure out how to light a fire on their own too the first time.

It reminds me of my training as a medic. We finished our EMT basic certification the first 6 weeks of the 4 month training course but our senior drill sergeant became famous for constantly telling us we weren't medics yet. We were only about 45% medic. And then about 80% medic. And on and on. Finally, after graduation, he said we were 100% medic and competent enough in our skills to go out there and do something.

The good news is that you don't have to wait to be christened an expert before you get going. The not-as-good news is that the upcoming generation of buyers and sellers don't recognize the same marks of authority as previous generations. Keep in mind that Generation Y might as well mean, "Why?" as in, "Why should I listen to you at all about anything even if some people think you are a so-called expert?" Credentials won't go as far as they used to.

I'm glad for it. There's more opportunity for those of us willing to get up to speed.

Cajun cuisine came from the Acadian immigrants that had immigrated from Acadia in Canada to the region of Louisiana in the US. It is what is called 'rustic cuisine' wherein locally available ingredients predominate, and the preparation of it is simple, classy, has a country taste to it and yet, still elegant. Cajun eating usually is a three pot affair, which means that at least three dishes are being served simultaneously. One for the main dish (usually the viand), the other for steamed rice, corn bread (or non-traditional polenta) or anything grain-based, and the third is any kind of vegetables cooked in anyway.

The seasonings used in Cajun cooking are bay leaf, scallions, parsley, dried cayenne pepper. The over all feeling one gets when eating Cajun cooking is more Mediterranean than North American. This also proves that Cajun cooking is a bit like fusion cooking as well.

The actual cuisine was born out of necessity and invention. The cooks and farmers, upon expulsion had to live off what the land offered and had to adapt their cooking style. With what they had left, they were provided with rice, lobster, sugar cane and okra. Farming was an essential back then, and it was imperative that everyone had to eat well and grow well. Rice was supplemented with meat for protein, the vegetables provided the vitamins and nutrients, and the spices provided the necessary taste for heavy eating.

Cajun cooking uses a lot of methods from other styles of cooking. Some of the methods are barbecuing (with exclusive use of Cajun seasoning), stewing, smoking, grilling, frying, etouffee, boiling, and deep frying. The most used ingredients in Cajun cuisine (stock up on these if you like) are corn, rice, and wheat for the grain pot; bell pepper, cayenne pepper, celery, lime, lemon, chayote, okra, onion, scallion, tabasco pepper, and tomatoes for the spices and vegetables. Meat often involves the use of pork, beef, sausage, and turkey or chicken.

Seafood has trout, redfish, flounder, perch, snapper, shrimp, oysters, crawfish and the ever famous blue crab of the South. Seasonings are far extensive, going with bay lef, garlic, parsley, file' powder (or sassafras leaves), sugar cane, and thyme. They think it's the way to build a quick downline by buying thousands of email leads, and sending them with an autoresponder that allows them to spam. They do this for a month or so, and realize it's not the magic button they thought it would be.

You know like monster traffic site's. We will send your mlm opportunity message to a million double opt in people just like you, who are interested in what your doing. No need to worry about spam complaints ever again. No body reads those messages, besides they have a business of their own already. The Roth 401k is particularly attractive to higher-earnings individuals, or those that would mostly likely be phased out of IRA contributions. Unlike the $5,000 max in the IRA, an employee could defer the full $15,500 for 2007, or $20,500 if they are over age 50. The Roth 401k works much like the Roth IRA, in that contributions are made with after-tax dollars and withdrawals are tax-free. Unfortunately, not all employers offer this new plan. The roth 401k, quite frankly, is a dream come true in my opinion. Ok so thats a little exaggeration but it truely is the best of both worlds - 401k and Roth IRA.

The Roth 401k accounts are first and foremost a 401k. Most of the same rules apply, including the early withdrawal penalty on all distribution recorded as "income". The Roth 401K contribution limit will be $15,000 in 2006. Note that the limit applies to the combimed contributions to the regular 401K and the Roth 401K; for example, a person could not contribute $15,000 to a Roth 401K and $15,000 to a regular 401K in the same year. The Roth 401k was adopted by 14% of Vanguard plans, and 5% of participants within these plans elected the option. Early Roth adopters included new plan enrollees, high savers, Web-registered participants, and high-income households.

Is Diversification Going to Protect Me?

I am not a financial adviser but I did have investments that I saw vanishing before my very eyes, and it concerned me greatly. As a person with very little investment experience, I felt the need to search for satisfactory answers.

It has been my experience that whenever I am motivated to seek an answer to a question, that answer invariably appears, and so it was with my search. I had read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki a number of times and found it very informative. A friend of mine recommended I read his book, Rich Dad's Prophecy, so I ordered a copy. That book was a major eye opener for me.

We are used to the market going up, down and sideways. That is it's cyclical nature. However, if we were to graph it out over many years we would see that the big picture showed a steady upward motion, even though there were small dips here and there. The graph these days looks very different and it's quite frightening for many people. It is headed down on a very steep curve.

The first of the 75 million baby boomers in the U.S. are going to be turning age 70 by the year 2016. The U.S. has a law on the books that states that when a person reaches age 70 1/2 they have to take all their funds out of their 401k. The time to pay 'Uncle Sam' will have arrived. Just think for a moment what that is going to mean.

There are going to be literally millions of people selling off large holdings, because they have to. Can you imagine what that is going to do to the stock market. For the market to go up, we have to have more buyers than sellers. For it to remain the same, there would be about the same volume of sales to purchases. So, with way more sellers than buyers, the market is going to take a huge hit, and there doesn't appear that there is anything that can be done about it. I suppose it's possible that the Government will step in with another law allowing people to keep their money in their retirement fund longer. However, this will just delay the inevitable.

Most people understand that they are in a difficult financial situation, but they fail to realize the full impact. They are told that the best thing for them to do is to diversify, hold tight and ride out the storm. Many of them follow that advice and are unaware of what Warren Buffet said about this.
