How to Have a Great First Date at an Art Fair

By Chuck R Stewart

First dates can be messy business. It is the deciding factor in a relationship. If the first date goes well, a second is sure to follow but if it goes badly then its the end of the road. The location and activity of your first date is very important. If its too personal, the date is awkward but if it is too crowded there's no room to get to know one another. A great place for a first date is an art fair. Art fairs are populated, but also Allow a chance to talk and learn about the other person.

Don't fret about what to talk about on your date, it puts too much pressure on you both. Your date should be totally natural, if you have to force conversation the entire date it is probably a bad sign. If you and the other person have a connection, conversations will most likely flow. There are always a few awkward silences, but even people in relationships get those.

A good idea is to drive while listening to music, so when the conversation dies down you can ask the other person about the music that's playing. Another important thing to remember on a first date is how you present yourself. Everyone always talks about being casually late and things like that to appear cool, but a lot of times those things don't matter. If anything, a girl appreciates a guy being on time. If you're going to run late, try not to be be more than a few minutes past your set arrival time. After that, it starts to seem rude and obnoxious. People set time out to get ready, and by being late they get stuck, sitting with nothing to do while waiting for you. If by chance you are running late, give a call or text there way.

Your appearance also majorly affects your first date. Your outfit matters a lot. You cant put too much effort into it, but you cant look like a slob. If where you are going permits, a jean and cute shirt is appropriate for either sex. Often dark jeans are always the safe choice. Light jeans sometimes put off a bad vibe, or too casual. However if you decide to wear a dark colored shirt, light jeans may work better. The way you smell is also very important, as odd as that is. You don't wanna wear to much perfume or cologne, but putting it on can be a deal maker. Good smelling people often are a huge catch.

Make sure your first date with someone is memorable. You need to show all sides of you if you can. Show that you are fun and spontaneous if you are, or sensitive and loving. Don't come on too strong however or you may frighten your date away. The first date will hopefully open a door to a relationship or close it. Even if you don't want to be invested in a relationship and just want to causally date, its still crucial. - 2364
